Setting a table is more than placing flatware and arranging centerpieces. Your tablescape will be the setting for toasts and tears, introductions and reunions. The way the flowers play off of the color and texture of the linens, the sweet scent of pure beeswax taper candles melting slowly down over the course of the evening, hand calligraphed escort cards on linen paper. This is luxury in the form of intentional design and deeply personal detail. This is what I live for.
From your first date to your first dance, your story has been written entirely in a language known only to the two of you. My intention when designing a wedding is to try and learn a little bit of that language and translate it into the flowers. When you work with me, you have access to meet with me as many times as you'd like before we finalize the floral design of your wedding. We will revise and edit until you see yourselves there. After all, every good story requires a few rough drafts.
We will spend the next months collaborating and revising your floral design until every stem, every petal and every leaf tell your true and authentic story. About one month before your wedding day we will meet at my studio for a mock up of one complete table design. This is our chance to make final edits and changes.
Together with your planner you will have an opportunity to review and request one round of revisions to your proposal. Following this revision, if you decide you would like to move forward together, we will sign my contract for services and you will submit a non-refundable deposit that will be put toward the final investment.
Once we determine the core tenets of your design and your desired investment, I will create an initial design proposal with a detailed estimate including inspiration images of flower varieties, color palette, tabletop design and hard goods.
I do not set minimum investments for my couples so our initial conversation is perhaps the most important one we will have. It is our opportunity to gauge whether we are a good fit and whether we are aligned on expectations and deliverables.
